Mackinac Island Cancer Fund
Loss of income and added expenses due to Medical bills and travel off the Island can financially devastate a person going through the stressful and exhausting process of cancer treatments. This fund provides short-term direct financial aid to Island residents undergoing cancer treatments. Because millions of dollars are being raised for early detection and research, it is important to remember to assist those facing cancer with urgently needed financial help now.
The Mackinac Island Cancer Fund is administered by The Mackinac Island Community Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving and enriching life for residents and visitors of Mackinac Island. The Foundation is comprised of many funds - some designed for specific needs - and others, unrestricted.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Joann's Fudge celebrates the health of our Joann's Fudge Family breast cancer survivors, Joan 24 years and Lisa 1 year.
